Lowry Hill Gallery looks forward to hosting this artist-led life drawing sessions at the gallery this August. The session will take place after gallery hours from 4:30-8:30PM on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. 

Session II on August 25th will be led by gallery artists Michael Banning and Michael Kareken. This session will focus on basic skeletal anatomy as a means of understanding the underlying rhythms and volumes of the figurative form. Emphasis will be placed on methods of visualizing the three major masses of the skull, ribcage, and pelvis. The session will include demonstrations from the skeleton and the model, and a range of short, medium and longer poses.
